Today's available gadgets covers everything from speakers to smartphones. iHome's high-end iPod and iPhone dock is up for grabs, along with a new laptop from Lenovo. The HTC Touch Pro2 is out as well, but watch out for the price.

� iHome's iP1 iPod and iPhone speaker dock we saw back in May started shipping yesterday, and it's certainly a far cry from the clock radio docks that the company is known for. The iP1 is iHome's first to use Bongiovi Acoustics' Digital Power Station audio enhancement, although the feature can be switched off if you wish. The speakers have a total output of 100w from two 4" woofers and 1" tweeters. On the video side, the dock sports both composite and component outputs. The iP1's lucite panel looks great, and the specs make it seem like a solid performer on paper. As with any speaker system, though, it's best to try before you buy. Available now for $299. � Lenovo's IdeaPad U450p is up for order as of today. The light-but-not-quite-ultralight 14" laptop packs an anti-glare LED-backlit LCD and an Intel ULV processor into a swanky brushed metallic body. The computer is available today starting at $799, but don't expect it to be waiting on your doorstep next week. Lenovo's pegged the estimated shipping date for mid-September. [Lenovo via Engadget]

John's review goes over all the details, and it's definitely worth a read if you're thinking about grabbing one. Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd Ltd has launched the the Tyr PC-X1000 chassis designed as a stylish midi-tower chassis. The Tyr PC-X1000 follows in the prestigious footsteps of its predecessors, namely the PC-X500 and the PC-X2000. Both of a controversial design with side mounted ODD bays. The PC-X1000 however has three traditional front mounted ODD bays as well as three front mounted 140mm fans down the front of the case. Similarly, the PC-X1000 has specific heat zones to isolate and extract heat more efficiently. Over the last six months the idea of going green with each motherboard manufacturer has picked up. Ideas and thoughts of a cleaner and greener PC industry are now taking hold. GIGABYTE can be thanked for kicking this off. Not only have they been the first to introduce solid state components across the entire line of boards, but also the first to introduce a hardware based voltage switching system that allows the board to physically shut down un-used phases when the CPU is at idle and during lower states of activity; very impressive. GIGABYTE called this technology DES or Dynamic Energy Saver. GIGABYTE has since upgraded to DES Advanced.

EIZO Japan announced its newest 24.1 inch LCD monitor, the FlexScan S2433W-H. Aimed at graphics professionals and the likes, this monitor sports a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA). It provides a brightness of 360cd/m2, and a static contrast ratio of 1000:1. The EcoView and EyeCare features adjusts brightness to best suit the ambient lighting conditions, and work to conserve energy. The panel has a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees. It takes input from DVI-D (HDCP capable), D-Sub, and DisplayPort. It is able to reproduce 96% of the Adobe RGB colour-space. Available in matte black and silver, the FlexScan S2433W-H started selling in Japan for 94,800 JPY (US $995).
