Nowadays e-book reader device is a new trend with more and more manufacturer following the path after Amazon releasing its first Kindle e-book reader not long ago. In order to keep up to the speed, Joseph Hsu, MSI chairman has announced readiness to develop a new e-book reader and surprisingly, it will be based on powerful Tegra processor, an ARM based processor from famous discrete graphics company NVIDIA that has been widely used in nettop and MID (Mobile Internet Device).
The world record for the highest graphics processing unit clock/memory speed was broken by a renowned overclocker using a system configuration that employed the MSI R5870-PM2D1G for graphics. Calling himself “Deanzo,” the overclocker built a machinery that used a significant quantity of LN2 in order to keep the GPU's heat in check. Normally, the graphics card runs at reference speeds of 850MHz for the clock and of 1200MHz for the memory. Deanzo, using the MSI Afterburner overclocking software, managed to push the speeds at 162.4% of the standard ATI Radeon 5870's normal capabilities, achieving a 3D Mark Vantage score of P24486, as opposed to the P17714 reached under normal running conditions.
The AM3 Phenom II and Athlon II series-supporting motherboard 770-G45 is released. This is the third such motherboard developed by the company and also the most rich in features after the 770T-C45 and the 770-C35.

Some rumors claimed that NVIDIA forced MSI to postpone their Big Bang Fuzion motherboard which would take advantage of Lucid Hydra 200 chip, and people guess the green giant will break support for the chip at the driver part. After all, NVIDIA’s SLI fee would be threatened if Hydra does succeed.
MSI recently released the massively popular AfterBurner overclock software. This software could use a couple of user created skins. So we figured it would be fun to design a competition around it.
AfterBurtner's skin is customizable (read all about it here). Be creative ! This contest will run from November the 18th up-to December 11th. We have some awesome prizes lined up for the winners !
You'll need to create the skins, and send the screenshot (JPG max size 1024 KB). Later on you'll be asked to send the skin to us by email. You can register at the Guru3D.com forums, and upload a screenshot of your design in this thread.
With the help of a poll the Guru3D audience will decide which Skins will one of these fantastic prizes, here's what we'll be giving away (twelve prizes) to the winners. Some of the prizes: MSI Radeon HD 5870 (R5870-PM2D1G), MSI Big Bang Fuzion P55 motherboard, MSI N275GTX Lightning graphics card, MSI N9600 GT Diamond graphics card (x6), MSI P55-GD80 motherboard, MSI R4890 Cyclone OC graphics card, MSI N260GTX-T2D896-OC graphics card.
How to upload screenshots -- Click on 'Post Reply' in this competition thread. Below the text field you'll notice a sections called 'Attach files'. The AM3 Phenom II and Athlon II series-supporting motherboard 770-G45 is released. This is the third such motherboard developed by the company and also the most rich in features after the 770T-C45 and the 770-C35.
MSI is working on yet another addition to its AM2+ socket motherboard lineup, this time the 770T-C45. This mainstream ATX motherboards draws more than just its layout from the recently announced 770-C35, and the AM3-based 770-C45, in fact an identical board layout with the addition of a few features.
