The P1-102A2M, a 1U rack-mount server solution, was developed to be used as workgroup server -- for file and printer sharing, and network sharing. This 1U rack-mount system has a 17 depth chassis, which is good for those care about space-saving, and can support 2 internal HDDs, slim CD-ROM and LCD panel. Besides, the P1-102A2M comes with MSI's unique µStar® Server Managenent software bundle, including MMS (MSI Server Management Suite), mBMC (server management) and iConsole (MSI Server Management Software), which can be used to control the Server and Hardware Monitoring functions remotely. Server baru yang mendukung prosesor AMD Opteron dengan soket F dan teknologi memori DDR2 667/533 MHz tersebut hadir dalam beberapa seri yaitu K9SD Master-A8R dan K9ND Master-S4, serta server jenis 1U server yaitu K2-104-S3R dan K2-104-A3R

MSI K9SD Master-A8R merupakan motherboard server untuk prosesor dual core AMD Opteron dengan soket F. Oleh karena diperuntukkan sebagai server, dukungan terhadap kapasitas memori yang ekstra besar diantisipasi dengan menyediakan 16 slot berjenis DDR2 667/533 MHz. Dengan jumlah slot tersebut, kapasitas memori maksimum yang dapat ditampungnya mencapai 32 GB. |

Micro Star® MMS (MSI Server Management Suite):
MSI’s MMS (MSI Server Management Suite) technology leverages off the industry standard IPMI 1.5 (Intelligent Platform Management Interface), this provides the fabric for system level management communication.
The proprietary MMS software developed using IPMI is capable of allowing the Network Administrator to perform remote server management via the Internet. If a problem arises from the server, the system is capable of sending a warning signal to the network administrator no matter where he may be at that time.
Beyond the warning feature, the Network Administrator can also access the remote management feature to assess the situation and determine where the issue lies. Additional features include recovery, system reboot function as well as full system configuration.
